Stephen Chavez has been an American Civil War reenactor for over 8 years. He has participated in living history events, school talks for elementary school through college level classes, and participates in reenactments with his home unit, Company K, 6th Texas Infantry based in San Antonio, Texas. Stephen has done reenactments all across the south including Texas, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana and Kentucky.
Stephen was a frequent subscriber to message boards and reenacting publications but noticed there was no modern medium being used to communicate with reenactors and spark interest with spectators.
